Robert B. Woomer

I have represented clients in personal injury cases for over 20 years, with an emphasis on cases involving truck accidents medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and abuse, products liability, and serious automobile accidents. I won the largest jury verdict on record in Clearfield County, PA  and I have multiple jury verdicts of more than one million dollars. I have handled cases in almost all Pennsylvania counties west of Harrisburg, as well as in West Virginia and Ohio.

I have been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, am a member of the Million Dollar Advocate Forum, and have been selected by my peers for induction into the prestigious Allegheny County Academy of Trial Lawyers. Away from the office, I am married, a father of four, a hockey coach, and a history buff.

Richard G. Talarico

Attorney Talarico is honored to be identified as a Rising Star by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyer publication in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Attorney Talarico focuses his practice on representing clients in workers’ compensation cases, work/industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents and a variety of other personal injury claims.

Throughout his career, Attorney Talarico has recovered millions of dollars for his clients including a six figure jury verdict in a complex industrial accident case. Attorney Talarico has extensive workers’ compensation litigation experience and is dedicated to protecting the rights of injured workers.

George E. Clark

George Clark focuses his practice on Social Security Disability and workers’ compensation claims. Attorney Clark has successfully represented claimants at the initial (application) stage, as well as cases at the hearing level. He has successfully appealed social security claims to both the Appeals Council and the Federal Court level. Attorney Clark has extensive experience representing injured workers, negotiated multiple settlements of more than $200,000 and has successfully briefed and argued appeals in front of the Workers Compensation Appeals Board as well as the Commonwealth Court.

Mark S. Mislanovich

Mark S. Mislanovich’s practice focuses on representing injured individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. Mark is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he was one of only two students in his class selected to become a Law Review editor based on his submission to the law school’s legal writing competition. Mark was also the recipient of the CALI Award for the highest grade in his Estates and Trusts course.

Since joining Woomer and Talarico, Mark has won millions of dollars in settlements and awards for his clients, including cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability lawsuits, and various workers’ compensation petitions. Mark has also had the privilege of winning several victories for his clients in Pennsylvania’s appellate courts. Mark’s tireless dedication to his clients has resulted in the referral of many cases from his former clients, which he considers to be one of the best honors an attorney can achieve.

Mike Megrey

Attorney Mike Megrey focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury accidents, slip and fall accidents, automobile accidents, and medical malpractice. He has fought and won many battles for his clients throughout the courtrooms of Western Pennsylvania, helping them get compensation for injuries that were not their fault.

Attorney Megrey is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law and the Penn State Smeal College of Business. He is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

Emerald N. Williams

Emerald N. Williams focuses her practice in the area of personal injury claims, including products liability, automobile accidents, and premise liability claims.

She graduated, summa cum laude, from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology, with a concentration in criminal justice.  She went on to earn her J.D., cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law.  During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Maurice B. Cohill, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and interned at the Allegheny County Public Defender’s office. Emerald N. Williams focuses her practice in the area of personal injury claims, including products liability, automobile accidents, and premise liability claims.

After her second year of law school, Emerald began working as a law clerk at Woomer & Talarico LLC. After being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, Emerald was immediately hired as an attorney with the firm due to her dedication to the firm’s clients and significant contributions to the firm as a clerk.  Since becoming an attorney at Woomer & Talarico LLC, Emerald has argued and won numerous favorable decisions in the courtroom as well as negotiated settlements outside of the courtroom for her clients.

Away from the office, Emerald enjoys cooking (and eating), camping, and hiking with her dog.

Christopher Halesey

Christopher M. Halesey focuses his practice in the area of personal injury claims, including automobile accidents, premise liability claims, and product liability claims.

Chris received his Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting with a minor in economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013, where he was on the Dean’s List. He continued his education at The University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he went on to earn his J.D. in 2016.  During law school, Chris was elected by his classmates as the 2L Class President, elected to the Student Bar Association, and was appointed as the Law School’s Ambassador to The University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate and Professional Student Government. Chris was also selected by Legal Writing and Research Professor Judith Teeter, to serve as her research assistant during the 2014 Summer and Fall semesters.

Since becoming an attorney at Woomer & Talarico LLC, Chris has negotiated settlements outside of the courtroom for his clients with favorable results.
